Re: Gale's Castle (Part 2)
Night stares for a moment longer, the image of the castle securely locked in the silver orbs. Then she leaves the sanctuary of the shadows. The moonlight falls across a beast like no other. At first glance, Nightbringer looks like a massive great panther. On second glance, two bat-like wings stretch from her shoulder-blades. Her claws were those of a massive bear's, wickedly sharp and retractable. "It does not look deserted, at least." She easily catches up with her human counterpart. Nightbringer's telepathic voice sounds melidous and deep, like a brass bell.

"True that, my friend! We should have some fun exploring eh?" As the clumsy canadian walks he trips on a stick and begins to blush and laugh.

A sharp contrast to the Canadian, Night moves smoothly over the terrain. "Yes, we'll explore the castle. Hopefully we'll catch ourselves in the adventure you so yearn for, Dominic."

"Hey im not the only one Night! You've been waiting for this oppurtunity as much as i have." The castle slowly grows as the canadian and panther gets closer, showing it's immense size.

"I guess we should go in." The beast pushes open the door with her head, and peers into the depths beyond it. "Anybody home?" She purrs, knowing perfectly well nobody would hear her.

"Well Bern was right... it is charming!" He walks in and looks around the dark cooridors and rooms.

"Not to mention that it reeks of death and blood." She follows after Dominic, curiously peering into each room and taking careful note of its contents.
In the library, Rose idly flips through her own journal, re-reading the old entries from her training. |

"Ok which way? Left or Right?" Coming at an end to the hallway they have to choose which way they will continue.

"Left." She turns quitely down the left corridor. Her padded feet are silent against the stone. Soon, she comes across the door to the library. "Dominic, there is life in there."

"Really? Shall we make a friend?" Dom knocks then pushes the door open. He sees a female sitting in a chair reading something.

Rose looks up and snaps the journal close. "Who are you?"
Nightbringer surveys the room from behind Dom. "Travellers." Rose stares at the creature, rising slowly out of her chair and grabbing a hold of Fate. "Uh...Reeve...?" |

"Don't worry lady, were no threat unless you make us one. We've come to look around. We neede something to do, some hospitalty would be nice though." The figurewalks in and examines the one with the blade.

Rose sneers at the stranger. "Look, I don't care if you're just passing through, this castle is closed. How did you get in here anyway?" She glances around the room for some allies before shifting her gaze back to Dominic. She sneers at him again and holds the sword threatingly in front of him. Slowly, her eyes shift to Nightbringer, a mix of curiousty and awe on her face.

"Closed? I would guess if it was closed you would lock the door? Oh by the way im Dominic. Look I wish not to fight, if you choose to you better be prepared to face me and my friend. We just wish to have some fun, not to drain some blood. Now if you would. please take the blade out of my face or I shall crush it with this." Dom takes the giant spiked ball and chain named Void off of his back and lets the spikes gleam and sparkle in the light.

Rose laughs humorlessly. "Listen, I may look little but I'd still crush both of your heads in. Anyway, strangers aren't welcomed here." She glances again at Night. "But if you're really that determined, you can stay-as long as you don't try to steal anything or cause trouble, because then me or one of my friends will kill you. This place is a sanctuary in the making, so don't you go messing it up."
Night captures the girl in her eyes. "She seems to be taken with me. I'm sure that's why she let us stay." |

"Ahh is see." Responding to both people at the same time.
"Don't worry we won't. So your name is...?" Dom swings Void over his shoulder again. |

Avalon smiles. "Glad to hear it. Hurry up and hug, you two. It seems we've had a number of visitors in this castle and we need to get out of here and get them out."

"Roselenna uth Haun. What's your name?" Her voice is still a little suspicious. She knew perfectly well she shouldn't have given them permission, but the creature behind the man was so interesting, she just had to investigate it further.

She raises a curious eyebrow. "Does that have a name?" She points to Nightbringer.
"Experiment 36....or Nightbringer, as I prefer." Rose's eyes open in shock, but she overcomes it quickly. |

"Yep this is Nightbringer, my long time friend." Dom takes a chair and sits in it.

"She's...beautiful." Rose crouches down next to Night and curiously tries to pat her.
Nightbringer studies Rose and tolerates the petting, something completly unlike her. "Not many would call me beautiful." "Guess not. I have a large respect for animals, though. Anything from this world is beautiful, cause it's a part of nature. Except, possibly, for Legion." At this, Night coldly pulls away to sit next to Dom. Rose shrugs and looks at Dominic. "How did you find out about the castle?" |

"From a friend of mine. You probably haven't heard of him. His name is Bernhard." He reaches down and scratches Night behind the ear.

"Bernhard? Big gargoyle? Yeah, I know him. He was here not too long ago, after my sword. He's alright, despite it. How did you know him?"
Nightbringer puts her head on her wide, massive paws and listens carefully, enjoying the adminstrations. |

"I met him in the Tri Link Cafe. He snuck up on me in the shadows.... well sort. He.. uh ... he didn't scare me or nothing! He a good guy though."

Night purrs in an odd manner-her way of laughing. "He is a solid being, tortured with his own demons as we all are." Rose stares curiously at Nightbringer. "Is she always so cheery? Anyway, what possessed you to come here?"

"Not much, we were bored and were always hearing something about this place so we decided to come here. Nothing special."

She sighs and rolls her shoulders. "A while back, an Abbis named Gale Onarav had a girlfriend of sorts, Laena, who was a Siren. Well, she got in trouble with her sisters for loving a mortal and was killed. That sent Gale over the edge, and he decided that he was going to blow up the entire world. In short, I and a bunch of other people banned together in the end and stopped him. We lost a lot of friends because of it, but the world's saved."

Alinos cracks his knuckles. "She's the human form of the planet, if she perishes so will our world, taking us with it."

"Indeed, we do." Avalon moves to the door, unlocking it. "Glad we got that out of the way." Avalon opens the door and makes his way to the heart of the castle, the library. Once inside, he stops and looks around and the people and the new faces. He also notices that Ayn is back in the library.

Cloud follow Avalon, tugging a bit on the sheath strap across his chest. As he walks into the Library he sighs at the lack of his son and presence of many new guests. "Will this never end?"

He eyes Night while answering Rose. "We were only gone for an hour. Why so surprised? And who are you?" He turns his attention to Night.

The cat-thing continues to growl softly as she answers. "I am Nightbringer. The human is Dominic. Who are you?"
Rose scratches her head and shrugs. "I didn't expect you guys to be done so soon, is all." |

He looks over at Dominic and shakes his hands. "I'm still wondering what you're doing here." |
